RIOJA VEGA CRIANZA 2015 has been chosen BEST OLD WORLD RED WINE UNDER €15 by the Irish Wine Star Awards.
An initiative of Ireland’s National Off-License Association, these awards select the best wines in the off-premise sector. On this occasion, Rioja Vega Crianza 2015 is on top of those Old World red wines with a retail price below €15. Among hundreds of wines, only the one reference that meets special requirements deserves such a significant award.
A Rioja Vega emblematic wine, this accessible, modern and expressive Crianza faithfully represents the essence of Rioja. Its unique character has received outstanding ratings from the media and critics from very different countries.
To name but a few examples, from American magazines Wine Spectator, Wine Enthusiast, and VINOUS; the British Jamie Goodie, The Daily Express, The Independent on Sunday, and The Drinks Business magazine. Also, the 2015 vintage of Rioja Vega Crianza has been granted Gold Medals from Mundus Vini, Sommelier Wine Awards, and the Berliner Wein Trophy competitions.
